I went to Makati to finish some paperwork and run some errands. Quite productive actually.
Met with K and S for lunch -- had chicken and mojos at Shakey's (because I was missing mojos). Planned some future trips. Went our separate ways for the rest of the afternoon, then met with S and N for dinner. Definitely turned into a mega-gossip session. But since we were all pooped from our busy weeks (and stress) called it a night by 9pm. (Maybe I'm beginning to feel my age or 2 decades older, harhar).
Since I didn't have transpo nor my trusty driver, I rode the shuttle with N. What an adventure!!! I used to ride the shuttle before since the terminal was right behind the SGV building. Anyway, tonight the shuttle broke down right at the corner of paseo de roxas and dela rosa...Traffic was so terrible that we broke down there and we didn't even inconvenience the cars behind us (well, not so much anyway). Driver said it was his fault since he made a mistake with the clutch (apparently, the engine had to be revved up or else it would shut down). But! The van only started when two male passengers (there was one other male passenger, but I think he was batting for the other team) pushed the van. N and I being good samaritans (No! We did not help push.) got off the van to lessen the weight somewhat. We walked beside the van while crossing paseo. I'm just glad we got through the ride without any other mishap.
I can't sleep yet since I have a lot of forbidden sugar coursing through my veins...pretty hyped. Waiting for the sugar crash... I wonder if it's worth it to watch Harry Potter on Imax? I wonder how the UP Law Alumni Homecoming went? Planning a stargazing trip around the first week of december (it's the new moon, so a lot of stars will be visible). Orion's visible again, right above our house.
Rambling rambling rambling...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
